This is the new thread for posting reports of osprey sightings, whether on the internet, in the press or in real life.
For the benefit of any new or less frequent viewers, it might be helpful if the first person to refer to a regular online source of information, for example Faune-Aquitaine, provided a link and a brief explanation of what the site is about.

The weather forecast on the French coast for Beatrice is for local thunder storms and rain, poor lady. It will be interesting, if we find that she stays around in the UK for a few days.
e.g. Cherbourg peninsula, this afternoon.

In this extract from SOS sightings it says that osprey at Weir Wood is a juvenile:"A quick look around this morning prior to going out was worth the effort. An Osprey juv' was perched up near the Cormorant roost, directly opposite the hide, seen for a few minutes before it rather casually flew around towards the dam only to perch up on the fencing by the canoeists beach."
