For anyone planning to visit Lakenheath Fen this weekend (3rd/4th December), please be aware that both the Brandon (A1065) and Lakenheath (B1112) railway crossings will be closed this weekend, from 11pm Friday night, until 7am Monday morning. So if you are coming from the Norwich direction, please use the A134 from Thetford and head towards Mundford. Take the left turn to Grime's Graves and left onto the A1065 to Brandon, then right to Weeting. Turn left in Weeting towards Hockwold, then left onto the B1112 to Lakenheath.
If you are coming from the Cambridge direction, head to Ely, travel norht on the A10 to Southery, where you whould turn right onto the B1160 towards Feltwell. Go through Feltwell, picking up the B1112 to Hockwold, then straight through the village towards Lakenheath.
If you are coming from the north or west you should be unnaffected!
