I'd love to come and see the little terns, so could you please let me know the rough timingfor when they return to hodbarrow so I can plan a trip across?
We usually see the first little terns of the year towards the end of April. Unfortunately, they haven't stayed to nest for a couple of years and are only seen sporadically during the summer months. Fingers crossed they will stay to breed this year.

In reply to Norman Holton:
Little Terns seen daily at the moment with up to six or seven at times. Best to come on a rising or high tide just now for best chance to see them. Also around are common and sandwich.
