Has anyone else spotted yellow wagtails at the reserve? I saw one running along the pavement as I was heading back to my car near the visitors centre, I couldn't get a very good photo but I've never seen one before so had to look it up. I thought at first from a distance it was a yellowhammer but its mannerisms were different and it did indeed wag its tail. I'm quite excited at seeing my first one :)
There were a couple of juvenile Yellow Wags on the reserve this evening, Bec. The yellow was just starting to come through. Didn't see the adult though.
There were Yellowhammers singing on the posts around the car park.
"Accept that some days you are the pigeon, and some days you are the statue."
Hi-
plenty of Yellow wags flying over the pools on sunday afternoon when I was watching the White rumped sand. Didnt see any on the ground though.
