Took these today on a dark, overcast day so please excuse the quality.
Plenty of Swifts around.
A good few Avocets too.
I think a more elegant bird when wading.
Having said that, this was a graceful approach.
Plenty of Skylarks doing their thing....what a lovely sound.

Another good spot for me was a Little Ringed Plover - too far to get a pic, but a beautiful little bird.
