RSPB DOVE STONE
LOCAL INTEREST WALK
Saturday, 10th July @ 11 am
Why not join members of our information team who are leading a short walk around Dove Stone, and learn a little of its wildlife and history?
We will climb up through some mixed deciduous woods and join the route of the old tramway, observing areas of local interest along the way. After following the Chew track for a while, we will slowly descend to the main path, noting any wildlife and contemplating great views.
Optionally, you can also visit the very popular Date With Nature Peregrine watch at a nearby tranquil picnic area. What a great way to finish the walk!
We will be out for around two hours, mainly on good tracks or paths with only a short uphill section. Please wear stout walking boots and bring drinks and waterproofs.
Binoculars will greatly enhance any sightings of wildlife.
