20/02/12 Counted #40 species !

Arriving as the clouds did too actually made good viewing from the visitor centre. I've not been too well lately so glad of its home comforts. There was plenty of variety and suprisingly high numbers of some, like the Black Tailed Godwits ! Highlights were the "Ringtail" Hen Harrier & Spotted Redshank & a very distant Little Egret. The Kestrel constantly hovering or perching close by was a welcome presence. The friendly helpful staff & other visitors who helped me clock up the forty species counted made for a very pleasant afternoon spent in comfort. My thanks to everyone  Vivienne X
