I just want to say a thank you and well done to the team at Burton Mere.
We have been into Parkgate a few time previously but yesterday was our first ever trip to Burton Mere. The site is fantastic! We drove past the small RSPB sign twice before we finally spotted it - Admittedly the second time we were looking for the road name and immediately turned around having just drove past it, finally spotting the RSPB sign having spun around.
We had a lovely time and will definitely be back.
The trip was taken to have a day playing with my new lens on my camera - I've posted some photos below which I though people might like to see, just keep in mind - I'd never used the lens before!
Seeing the Nuthatch on one Tree and a Tree Creeper on the next definitely made my day!
like the treecreeper especialy, i was there saturday and sunday, i heard there was a hen harrier about, but didnt see it, great place though !!
