Down at the Crook today or first flock of Twite I managed a count of 65 which is 10 more than last year and one with colour rings on bothlegs white over green I really look forward to this flock coming back each year and it being so late in the winter was thinking that they were not.
Once again not camera in the car. So sorry no picture.
They are late this year, i have been waiting for them, at Stranraer, there was a small flock at Bishop Burn and some on the Railway Terminal, both then joined the main flock at the wig. Thanks for letting us know they are back.
