WeBs count today on the bay had 6 little Egret, on the Crook a Merlin hunting and catching a skylark, 5 Mute Swan, 29 Redshank, 130 Dunlin, 101 Shelduck, 224 Curlew, 5 Red Breasted Meganse, 165 Lapwing, 400 Oystercatcher, 20 Pale Bellied Brent, 3 Heron, 4 Pink Footed Geese, 2 Cormarant, 25 Black Headed Gulls and 3 Great Black-backed Gull.
and 2 Snipe. Now on Thursday we had two flocks of Snipe totalling 100+ birds. it is a case of being in the right place at the right time. A very good two hours over the high tide.
