Thinking of taking my first visit to the area on Monday weather and stuff permitting. Any tips on which viewing area to go to?
Cheers

Hi Topdog, if its Gannets your after then the Newark viewing point is spot on, the best the thing to do on arrival is talk to the volunteers in the shop, or any of the volunteers out on the clff tops. Its just a great place to wander round and the volunteers are great people to talk to, enjoy your trip.

Hi top dog, all the view points are worth looking at, it will be very busy bird wise, if you get the chance have a ride to flamborough as well south landing, you get better views of the puffins. Alan
always many sides to an argument
cheers guys Puffins would be nice to see...
Puffins have been seen on the cliffs today. Make sure you check out the images from the CCTV cameras that are being shown in the visitor centre. Our staff and volunteers will be delighted to point you in the right direction to get the best out of your visit
Let us know how your visit went, Top Dog.
WELL.... what a fantasic site and helpers!!!
Had a great morning got there for 0930ish after being re-routed due to the roadworks!
Every one was very helpful, vistors and guides alike. Shop staff were very good even when they could not ptocess my RSPB membership due to an error on their machines they did it via another site.
Saw the Puffins and a host of other birds. Currently downloading from camera to computer will put them on my Flickr site shortly.
To cap it off went via Marine drive to check the Peregrine Falcons and managed to get some good shots, just about to check them on the computer see what they came out like
marks out of 10?
12/10 very good will be returning at least once a month days off work permitting.....
I love Bempton Cliffs and have managed one visit so far this season. When we were there a few weeks ago, we were lucky enough to see a pair of peregrine falcons over the cliff tops and a yellow hammer in the bird feeder garden. Great place.
