Great pictures of the Yellowhammer. We currently have two males visiting our feeding station which are giving some good photographic opportunities. It will not be long now before we start to hear that yellowhammer trademark song which is described in most bird books as singing "A little bit of bread and no cheese".
Bempton Cliffs is the only mainland breeding seabird colony in the UK - once visited never forgotten.
I will look forward to hearing the yellowhammers song.
