Small wind turbines are being erected on the marsh land. Can anyone tell me what they are powering.

Thanks for your posting. They are actually wind-powered water pumps and will be used to pump water from the Beckingham Main Drain, onto the Marshes. These will be used during drought periods to top up our scrapes and ditches, mainly during the breeding season. Have a look on our blog page. I put a posting on there in December relating to their installation.
