Hello - This is a rather rushed first post but after a long time with nothing happening on the kestrel nest we came in this morning to find our surprise that the first egg has been layed! Very exciting! So I have switched the web cam over for the time being!
We are still keeping an eye on the buzzard nest so if they do decide to use it we will switch over to them!
But for the time being happy viewing of the kestrels
Michael
Ps - As this has happened quickly the web cam caption will still be for the feeder for a few days until I get the web team to change it over!
Mrs puts a beakful to the awake chick and as if by magic the other one jumps to life. Oh are there 3 or 2 chicks???? Clip to follow. There must be 3!!!!
Feed over at 16.48 and Mrs gathers them all in.
16.52 Mrs has left the nest for a comfort break
I am recording the chicks alone. Now can you see 3 little heads or 2?? In the clip before it which I will post in a min, I was sure I could see 3 heads lol
YES THERE ARE 3 BOBBLEHEADS NOW
Here is the first clip. Mrs gets up for a snack and then feeds the chicks. You can see 2 little heads, but then another little head pops up!!
Here is the second clip. The chicks are home alone and when they move at some point you can see 3. Mrs returns and snuggles them up again.
Well that's my time gone already so happy watching everyone and see you next time:-)
Thanks to Doggie and Mims for pointing me to the correct thread!
Here's my first capture of Mum on her chicks and eggs :-)
