Doing a quick check while at work, got a good view of the chicks and there seem to be 2 intact eggs in there. When the female returned after taking the remains of what looked like a small vole out she packed everything under (with a bit of difficulty) so i was thinking maybe if one of the 'eggs' i'm looking at is a v large peice of shell, she wouldn't have bothered?? Great to see they're doing fine - have missed the last couple of days - and all the action. Typical!
