Hello - This is a rather rushed first post but after a long time with nothing happening on the kestrel nest we came in this morning to find our surprise that the first egg has been layed! Very exciting! So I have switched the web cam over for the time being!
We are still keeping an eye on the buzzard nest so if they do decide to use it we will switch over to them!
But for the time being happy viewing of the kestrels
Michael
Ps - As this has happened quickly the web cam caption will still be for the feeder for a few days until I get the web team to change it over!
And I will plump for 1st June!!

:-) Come on Mrs K!
Jo T Always on the side of the feathered guy!
Hi all, just been watching Mrs AK vigorously turning her eggs with much gusto & using beak & feet in very enthusiastic shuffling action & a thought popped into my head.....How do they 'know' they must keep turning eggs????
Hi everyone:-)
All seems well today as usual. Appx 12.45 Mrs went for a comfort break. She's so quick returning I never get to the button in time lol but here's the little clip.
JoT I think I'll go for 31st May hatching day, as a wild guess lol.
13.55 Looked in to see a contented looking Mrs on the eggs.
14.27 Here is Mrs sitting pretty
1st egg should be due to hatch any time now - we are keeping a close eye on the nest!
Mrs K stretched flat out, bit fidgety a moment ago but so sign of any movement underneath!
Mrs AK very restless - keeps shuffling round on eggs....
Good colour today - maybe she feels movement!!!
I keep hoping Mr K will bring her food so that she'll have to move off eggs!!!
