This really is my lucky day. Please tell me it's a red poll!!!!
If I go on at this rate, I might get a chaffinch to saty for more than half a second.
Cheers, Linda.

Hi Sparrow
Well done Linda!
A siskin and a redpoll.
I've never seen a live redpoll. I must be choosing the wrong food :-(
Best wishes Chris

What a day!!! Siskin and redpoll, and even my occasional great tit made a visit. There must be something in the air at number 41 today.
Squirrel B said:Poor chap! He's probably wondering what on earth you are doing with all the squeaks and screams and yells coming from your office!!!!!
He does keep wondering why he keeps getting emails on his computer from me, no message - just photos of the new visitors attached!!! Bless him, he is very patient with me and my birds, and makes all the right noises, even if he doesn't really mean them!!
Brilliant pictures, Sparrow.
Right place! Right time! Again. You are getting all the rewards.
Very pleased that all your hard effort is paying off, if you could point a few Siskins and Lesser Redpolls to my place I would be most Grateful :-}
You don't need to check Nasal Hairs on either of these species :-}

Hi Littleowl and everyone, thanks again for your comments. I do feel so lucky today - I should have bought a lottery ticket! Fingers crossed I get some repeat visits.
Sorry Sparrow. I am trying to catch up on a long list of unread posts, but I really did have to comment on this. I am so pleased for you. Great photograph. I now wait to see what you produce out of the hat ( garden) tomorrow.
Thank you, Brenda.
A chaffinch would be nice - one that stays long enough to be noticed!
