I have noticed some wonderful Blue Tit photos on this site and from many different people. I would like to enter two into an all comers beauty contest.
contestant one.
A little bit pale but with a twinkle in his eye!
contestant two
Works hard for a living!
Contestant three??
For viewing or photography right place right time is everything. I'd rather be in the right place with poor kit than have the best kit and be in the wrong place.

Oh man, how are we supposed to compete with that scottthehat?? It's stunning.
I agree - fantastic photo. Well done.
The necessity of bird-watching is a really good reason for avoiding all forms of housework.
The dust will still be there tomorrow - the birds may not be!

Nice one scottthehat, your latest offer is very good. A double click, on it, gives really nice detail around the eye and beak! brilliant.

Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
thanks for the nice comments,
That's sooooo cute!

Wow! Great pics so far!!
Here are a couple of my contenders!
This next little one flew into my kitchen window. I went out and found him out cold on the ground so I picked him up and put him inside my jacket to keep him warm and after a while he came round. As soon as he was more 'with it', I placed him on a branch in my garden and he just sat there looking at me! So I went back indoors and got my camera, took a couple of shots and then he flew off!! Probably the only time I will have been so close to a blue tit!!
