First for the garden

Opening the blinds this morning I almost wet myself with excitement.  In my tiny front the garden, fluttering from the privot to the hosta. there was a willow warler. I was absolutely amazed. never happened before, that i have noticed, in twenty years. It didn't stay long but I'll be watching for it again tomorrow. Lovely start to the day.

All I ask is the chance to prove that money can't make me happy.

  • Smashing little birds, aren't they? I remember when i used to volunteer at the RSPB Vane Farm reserve, at this time of year the willow arch in the centre garden would be full of young willow warblers.

Reedbed, freshwater scrapes, saltmarsh and wet meadow. Frampton Marsh has it all! Come and pay us a visit soon.
