My resident male has paired up with a visiting female and they have been very active over the past month. There has been plenty of courtship feeding and more recently the female has been gathering nesting material and taking it into the ivy. Not the ideal spot for a nest, but we shall see. She has also been very aggressive towards the House Sparrows and has physically attacked them on many occasions. She attacks them claws first and chases them around the garden. They outnumber her 50 to 1, so I don't like her chances.
