In my ongoing attempts to get to grips with my new camera I have been aiming it at our garden birds quite a lot lately! An awful lot of my attempts have been no good at all, but a few managed to come out quite nicely despite my best efforts:
The bird in the final photo appeared this morning - I rarely see one sitting still!
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Nice to see the Spadgers. The Pheasant is considering what to do with those clothes pegs, so look out!
