As part of the Giving Nature a Home in Cardiff partnership, RSPB Cymru are on a mission to continue helping all Cardiff primary schools and early years settings to connect children with nature through free school outreach sessions. Funded by Aldi and the Big Lottery Fund, and in partnership with Cardiff Council and Buglife, we've already helped nearly 10,000 pupils to spend a little bit more time with nature.

Our sessions, available to all primary schools and early years settings in Cardiff, last 60 – 90 minutes and aim to help pupils learn more about the wildlife outside their classroom window and identify what they can do to help make their school more nature-friendly.

All our sessions are free of charge and delivered by RSPB trained educators who can deliver one session per class per academic year to really help your pupils learn more about the wildlife around them.
