if we could count the birds that flew over instead of just landing what would of you counted?
i would of got
1 Buzzard
1 Kestrel
1 Sparrowhawk
2 Mute Swans
1 Magpie

Countless seagulls in the field behind our house! Also, some more starlings, and two magpies. Also, mustn't forget, a 747 or similar, as we are under the Manchester Runway flightpath!
Likewise, countless black-headed gulls, plus the odd heron, and several magpies. Probably also most of my goldfinches!!

I had about 200 rooks and what a noise they made!
I had a rook in the garden once,I watched it unhook one of the feeders and chuck it on the ground so he could get at it!
It's not always easy to hug a hedgehog.
But that doesn't mean you shouldn't.
Living very near the backwaters, I can claim Canada Geese and Brent Gees that fly over. Crows, Jackdaws, Wood Pigeons heading towards the field, ducks in great numbers, starlings and gulls.
