Well it was the poorest show of birds I have ever seen in my garden. All I got for the bird watch was 2 Collared Doves, 1 Sparrow and 1 Starling. Usually I get loads of sparrows and starlings and even the odd blackbird or two!! sandijo
The snow was a boon for some extra birds in the gardens e.g. Buntings and long tailed tits but our regulars hid till the time was up. Sparrows by the bunch, goldfinches by the dozen etc. etc. we have next year to look forward to. Last year with the snow the partridges appeared but none so far.
