We had a very windy day and the 3 long tailed tits we usually get every day at 1.15 pm never arrived (last year we had 11!). We didn't see the usual pair of wrens - we think that they were hiding from the strong blustery gusts of wind in the ivy bush where they nest. Did anyone else have a problem with the weather?
yes, big problems! last weekend in the snow I had about 25 starlings, a couple of robins, a pied wagtail and several other birds,this weekend i had one wood pigeon all day :(
It was extremely windy in my garden, even the gulls stayed away. All I saw were 2 magpies!
