Thanks Alan.  I was pleased with photo too, especially as I was standing at my kitchen sink, so it was taken through glass.  I know it's "nature" but it was quite an amazing scene to witness whilst being somewhat horrifying at the same time.

Thanks Angela, great pic. I work at a Nature Reserve where a sparrow hawk was spotted recently being seen off by crows.

I just had a similar bird in my garden. Fantastic picture you took. The bird I saw had an orange back of neck. I took a very bad picture of it!
