e Robins
this little guy is extremely friendly and has absolutely no fear, he'll happily sit on the fence if I'm in the garden and will get as close as a foot away, you have to love Robins !!

excellent, thanks for that will go have a wee look , thanks for your help uploading, much appreciated
Arn't Robins great? I love them but then, most people do, I think. They seem to be much more intelligent than most garden birds, and are much less nervous around humans. Like your picture of him!
Yeah, they really are, and yes they seem more tolerant of us humans, although I wonder if that's a good thing in my garden, I have 2 cats, 1 of them is out a lot and has brought birds back, and mice, I have since got him a collar with a bell, however, he came back with a Robin in his mouth, I was mortified, I feel so guilty about encouraging birds into my garden, maybe more bells added to his collar, either that or I'll have to stop feeding the birds which would be so sad as I love watching them all !!! suppose though, if I'm gonna have cats it's going to happen isn't it ???
That's a lovely photo Freckles, I love Robins too, they are such characters as MC will also tell you. If you need to know anything about Robins then MC is the expert, he has some wonderful photos and video clips of his resident Robin and now Mrs. Robin !

Hi Hazy here is a pic of "my " Robin in the field , He waits in the mornings for his "buggy nibbles" and sunflower seeds. He does not mind my dog next to me . I call the Robin after my late son "Colin" .
When father takes his spade to dig then robin comes along
Hi Freckles - here is an extremely short vid of one of my Robins across the road in a neighbours garden....

I would be gutted too maybe shake some of the collar's or bells before buying as some seem louder than others, then maybe you can enjoy your birds still
kind regards the little robin (gayle)
I love having robins in my garden too, they make me think of Henry VIII the way they stand.
My cat knows I'm not happy with him, haven't let him near me since !!! I was gonna add more bells to his collar, whether he likes it or not !!! I don't want to have to stop the birds coming into my garden, I would miss watching them. More fantastic pics of Robins guys, and the Robin eating out of your hand Jenny, wow !! A few years ago I did have a Robin fly onto my fingers, he was trapped in a stairwell and couldn't get out, I think he knew I was there to help him, it was just fab getting that close !! off now to look at the video clip
