Hi, i'm new to this site and have done an hour watching my garden but not sure if i seen a couple of female blackbirds or starlings ? they were both in the garden at the same time as pairs - 1 blackbird male + the other bird,... does the female blackbird have a yellow beak ? also i have seen some sort fo finches within the last week but they never came to my garden today as yet - it is very windy. will they be accounted for ? thanks in anticipation for your help - Ben.
Hi and thanks Alan, i think you are right i have looked around the pics on the website and have come to the conclusion that what i seen was 2 pairs of blackbirds, i needed to confirm before submitting my results in the birdwatch - thanks again.
