I hope this is allowed, but I did the birdwatch in two sections, because when the sparrowhawk perched on my decking post , everything else vanished
if only birds had barcodes !
Hi Robert, thanks for taking part and posting a comment, i'll move it into the birdwatch forum where there is plenty of discussion about the survey!
I think a number of participants split the hour which is acceptable if for whatever reason you cannot do it for a consecutive hour.
