Our little wrens

We are fotunate to have a great variety of birds which visit out garden but the most hard working ( don't use the feeders! ) are a pair of wrens.They nest in an open tool store and the last three years have produced a couple of broods each year. I love watching them darting about for food . Two years ago we kept finding bits of their nest on the patio but they rebuilt and reproduced! This year, because the chicks fledged early and couldn't get back to the nest my caring hubby is putting a shelf under the nest to stop them talking to the ground .
