Blue Tits, Great Tits, in my garden, but still no Sparrows. Not seen any in my garden for several months now, there used to be dozens. Where are they? cc

yes sparrows, coal tits, blue tits, great tits, goldfinches, never had a greenfinch tho. have got a blackcap visiting my garden this past number of days
The sparrows are in Northumberland ;-)

A bird in the hand can make an awful mess!
Although I dont have sparrows in my garden, there are quite a few around that stay in hedges. Im thinking of popping some food up for them on a tree near their hedge. But its on a public footpath!
