A Real Surprise

I don't usually get a long list of bird for BGBW and today was no exception, but what landed was.  I was pleased when a Mistle Thrush put in a fleeting appearance, but the next bird had me deserting my post and racing upstairs for my long lens!  It was gone by the time I got back, but I had taken one picture with my standard lens - not good - but you can just see the "punk-rocker crest".......... Sorry, you would be able to if I could upload it, but I was thrilled to see it, anyway.  (I'll try again later).
