BGB

Lucky here in the Contin/Strathpeffer area, a young golden eagle has been hanging about, seen most often at Mark Butcher's farm at Loch Achilty, also seen flying around the local area.

I did not see any waxwings at BGB, last saw them here on christmas day.

    Interesting about the golden eagle, a cracking bird to have locally! Waxwings are still being seen across the UK although their food supply is vanishing quickly, any remaining berries could draw them in!
