I had a jay bird come into my garden for the past 2 years and i have seen it since about March last year.
Is their anything i can put out feed wise that may encourage it back ? If it hasnt died or gone away that is
Ahh fab... any ways of preventing squirrels as we have a few that even manage to pull the feeders off the trees and hoard them all!
ahhhh what a freak coincidence ...... :) its just popped into the treeswith its mate NOW :)
my 2 year old son will be happy, its his favourite birdy
I have one someone where of the Jay last year, and lots og various tits and bull finches i just need find them out! They are all back in the garden, i have a pheasant (if the same one) that pops in from time to time :)
Jays like acorns, so if you put some nuts out, in a peanut feeder, you may get it back in your garden....
I put out bread spread with peanut butter, and two jays come regularly throughout the day to feed on it.

Just put out more xmas ckae, meal worms seeds and peanuts... our trees are covered with birds watching lol.. We live near washington wildfowl park and have loads of trees over our back fence
