Young jay been visiting our garden for a while now - eating all the food on the table left out for the robins, wrens, blackbirds, dunnocks etc. Lucky enough to have a pair of woodpeckers as well :-)
just said No to your link re: North Kent Marshes airports. Thought it had died a death but obviously not. Born and bred in Rochester so immensely proud of the wildlife sites there and about.
Hi. I have a pair of jays that live in an oak across the rail tracks at the end of my east London garden. They regularly drop-in, rummage in the grass and show-off their beautiful plumage before venturing into neighbouring territories. I always have to stop and stare when they appear, captivated by the colours and their brazen lack of understanding about being a shy species.
Hi, two Jays landed in my garden last weekend. I was so excited as I had been waiting to spot them since all news over the web about their movements in early October.
