Just came home from work to hear a loud and very enthusiastic bird singing it's heart out at the top of next door's bare Lime tree. After listening for a while and getting a crick in my neck from craning up to spot it, I eventually saw it and deduced it must be a Mistle Thrush. Didn't realise they were so big!!! It stood it's ground against the gulls, crows and pigeons until I managed to get the camera, when of course it flew off! I then drove my cats crazy playing the audio clip on the RSPB site, both of whom were convinced the bird was under the sofa!! Lol!
