Today in the Birdwatch I had lots of Blackbirds eating the old apple windfalls but haven't seen a Thrush for ages.I also saw a couple of Goldfinches and one Bullfinch ( the first one I've seen this year). My two Greater spotted Woodpeckers arrived as normal and fed on the fat feeder. Our garden is close to the woods and has old apple trees in it which they love to peck at.
Thrushes seem to be thin on the ground in most areas. Shame. Maybe they'll have a good breeding season this year.
