Brilliant; loved doing this
Little wren made an appearance, lots of tree and house sparrows, two robins (one a stranger, I think), three squabbling blackbirds, the jackdaw, crows, starlings, magpies, and the feeding station's usual tits and finches. No sign of the goldcrests, thrush, or doves today, though.
What a wonderful way to spend an hour on an overcast, chilly day!
Not that relaxing for me.
Yes, doggie, very relaxing, and a fortunate location, I think, with moors on one side and farmland on the other, and little in the way of traffic or industry. I've only a tiny garden, but it's surrounded by hedges & trees, mostly other people's, and food is a great magnet, of course. I'm glad that my 'count' seems good, having worried that my patch would under-perform.
Why is that, Grandmamac?
my first too, assisted by my hubby (counting sparrows '14, 15, keep still! 16, 17...' :D
