We've had a great time this morning with eight different bird species popping into our "bird restaurant". For a suburban area to have such an array of wildlife is amazing. Our guest of honour had to be the visiting Sparrow Hawk, I don't think he was there to sample our cuisine and the other guests were not best pleased. Nine year old has really enjoyed himself and has noted we should do this every Sunday. What a great idea!
10 species for me this morning including 2 Great Spotted Woodpeckers a Nuthatch and a Goldfinch. Not bad for dreary old Wigan !!!!
