I was a bit dissappointed I only had 1 Carrion crow come into my garden, a female chaffinch thought about she sat on the fence and then hopped up to next doors fence and into their tree. There were Magpies and Woodpigeons flying over head and landing on roof tops. I am determined to make my garden bird friendly then do the big garden watch next year and see if I can attract more than one bird.
Hi all
My first ever post so I hope it looks ok!! Just done the Birdwatch, like other comment a little quiet, but a Goldcrest appeared here in darkest urban Dartford. A lovely surprise. Good luck to everyone else.

I too spotted a female Goldcrest, she had been a regular in my garden but hadn't seen her for several months now, nice to see she is still around as the babies are soooo cute!
I've just submitted our results. Like most of you, struggling to attract a good quantity of birds. However 10 sparrows flew in en masse and 8 hooligans (oops starlings). Everything else in the singular (wood pigeon, collared dove, blue tit and dunnock). Will try the allotment next year maybe.
How could I forget the stunning cock blackbird!
I had fewer birds this year, and amazingly no tits, whereas most days there are plenty of great & blue tits. But was pleased to see a great spotted woodpecker on the sunflower feeder.
