Hi all you Big Garden Birdwatchers out there, are you all excited about the weekend, have you stocked up on bird food to entice the local avian population down into your patch? No, well there is still time, get to it!
If you have and you are all set, why not have a quick vote on this little just for fun poll. We are simply asking you which beverage will you mostly be drinking during this years birdwatch? We recommend getting comfortable with a favourite drink and relaxing whilst the birds do all the hard work, all you need to do is count them as they go about their daily routines!
So pick your most likely beverage from the list below and lets see what the nations birdwatch beverage is!
Warden Intern at Otmoor.
Tea for me, and probably several. Good old builders' tea.
Cheers, Linda.

I'd normally be having a glass of wine for afternoon count, but am working in the evening, so bahh! lol
Same for me, i've got into a bit of ritual now, make a cuppa, grab a piece of toast, lean on the kitchen window ledge with the bins! I'm expecting less species this year given the mild weather but hoping for the starlings, house sparrows, robin and blackbird to make appearances.
I meant tea though I cross posted with Lynnie, as I usually do my count in the morning I don't think I could face red wine that early! What did you go for instead Lynnie?
My colleagues have pointed out that I have missed out hot chocloate (how could I?!?!) and bovril!
Huge mug of lemon and ginger herbal tea with a spoonful of honey and maybe a Hobnob or two, plus a handful of doggie biscuits because doglet likes to watch the birds too!
Fruits of the forest for me, but how do I get a form as I have not done this before. Alan
always many sides to an argument

Has to be a big mug of tea, comfy seat over looking the garden, mobile off, classical music in the background. Heaven, absolute heaven!!
Coffee, toasted crumpet with lashings of butter and big bones to keep the wolves amused, cat-face will be locked away. I will repeat the same exercise in Feb when we do the Island bird watch.
