I am relatively new to photographing the birds that visit my feeding table. Can anyone reccommend a camera and lense for this job?
It's rather like asking which car you should buy to shopping :)
Several members are getting excellent results from the Panasonic 150 but it's quite pricey.
Then again compared to a top of the range DSLR and lenses it's cheap. It all depends on your budget and how seriously you want to take your photography.

Hi Maria,
There is a forum called Gear Guide, and another called Photography. There are lots of threads in those about cameras. You'll find these forums by looking at the forum map on the main Community page. If you need any help finding them, just shout.
Cheers, Linda.

Thanks for the advise, I can see a lot of homework is required.
