As in all gardens the blackbirds, sparrows, dunnocks etc etc are all very busy collecting nest building matter and my Viola filled hanging baskets are being stripped bare of their linings by these little chaps for their homes. I also witnessed a couple of cheeky sparrows hanging about the garden yesterday whilst I was grooming my two cats, as soon as I had finished the sparrows swiftly gathered up all loose, flying cat hair and dashed off, presumably to line their nest with this soft, warm material - lovely.
Best regards to all from a new RSPB member
