I have just completed my hour on bgb and am so dissapointed
,all i got in the middle of salford were 2 blue tits,1 robin and 2 collared
doves you all are so lucky to have the species i am reading about on the forum.
Sometimes in the wind of change we find our true direction (unknown)
But thats one of the points of the survey - to see what lives where, and just as important, to see what is missing from our urban areas. I am lucky that despite living in Liverpool, I back on to woodland so get to see a reasonable variety.
By knowing what is missing, we can all add to campaigns for protection of habitat, the planting of trees in urban areas etc
For this reason, what you don't see is just as important as what you do.
