I think my garden birds have gone for the "no publicity" this weekend. They do not want to be part of this survey !!Chose my hour yesterday and although every other morning of the week I have a selection of birds, yesterday they disappeared. Decided to start again this morning (so that I would be submitting a true picture of visiting birds), gorgeous weather but very few birds !!!!!
I was lucky yesterday, the garden was so busy I think some were missed they need to learn to stay still. Just as the hour was almost up my visiting pheasant just walked through the hedge as if making a curtain call. The long tailed tits and a few other species seemed to have the same problem as your birds, I think they know what's going on! good luck for your second hour
