I am very new to bird watching having moved to the country and acquiring a garden after years of inner city life. So I have taken photos of everything that has visited out garden lately and just need to check with those that know that I'm correct in my identifications ready for the Big Garden Bird Watch.
Robin
Jackdaw
Mr& Mrs Chaffinch
Mr Black Bird
Mrs Blackbird and Starling
Blue Tit (left) and Great Tit (right)
Pied Wagtail
House Sparrow
Think that's all that I've seen for far. Did I get them all right???
Thanks in anticipation of your help :o)
its a bunting
Fieldfare is spot on !
You may be new to bird watching but you are certainly very skilled in getting photos. Most impressed.

Thank you. New camera for Christmas and it seemed such a waste to just take photos of the kids and the dogs with it so I set it up in the kitchen to take photos of the birds on the patio, the grass, the feeders and the makeshift bird table. I have to admit the photos I've posted are heavily cropped versions of the originals. Having such fascinating and beautiful subjects to photograph is making the camera purchase cost very worthwhile though.

Thank you so much. Wish I had just posted here in the first place instead of spending 2 days with the bird books!
