Hi Abhay

I noticed that you'd labelled the above photo as a Short-toed Treecreeper. Unless you photographed this in mainland Europe it will almost certainly be a Common Treecreeper.

I had a quick look at your photos on Flickr and they are very nice. I hope you don't mind me mentioning this but the birds you've identified as Nightingales look more like Chiffchaffs to me although I wouldn't claim to be an expert..

If you ever want something identified post the pictures in this Forum. There's lots of experts on here who will help.

Thanks very much.  The Treecreeper was photographed in the UK.  We had been looking at a flock of Long Tailed Tits in our garden and saw this bird creeping up a tree in the small wood just beyond the garden. We did look it up in the RSPB book and were vacillating between the Common Treecreeper and tbe Short Toed one.  Finally thought could be  Short Toed one.... :-).  

Thanks about the Chiffchaff too.  Wasn't sure about it too. It suddenly appeared the same time as the TreeCreeper.  Its been a great couple of weeks as all the photos in the flickr album were photographed in our garden and the small wood beyond it from our house.

I will correct the names in the flickr album.  Will also post the pictures in the forum for identification.  That would be very helpful.
