Minsmere has many birds who present a beautiful picture in flight, but nothing else has quite the impact of this one:

Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

Very nice Clare, they are very majestic in flight but a nice picture of an Egret in flight can be a close equivalent.
