Some more from the Minsmere feeders.

I arrived for my morning reception duty at Minsmere today with high hopes of getting out on to the reserve and seeing the glossy ibis this afternoon.  It was spotted on the East Scrape first thing but as the morning went on it was clear our bird had flown as visitor after visitor came back to say they couldn't find it anywhere!  Oh well - maybe another time.  At least the feeders were full:

Our herring gulls are red listed birds.  Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
