Humming bird moth-hawk

Just watched a Hummingbird Moth-Hawk in my garden earlier (Northern Ireland) - what a cool little guy!

    Hi & welcome to the community, what flower was it feeding on?  inmy garden in East Kent they are keen on Red Valerian ... extremely fascinaring visitor to observe & quite a challenge to get any pics/vids of ... hope you have many more sightings!

    It was on a lavender plant. I have some really good videos and pics! It was fascinating! A first sighting for me - hopefully it will be back

    Please ignore wrong name, these were instructions to another post!

    click on insert but remember to alter dimensions to 600 in first box & delete numbers in second one to get a decent sized image to show in post ... give it a whirl & shout if you get stuck!
